A driver was lucky to escape injury in a single-vehicle crash which occurred at Wooroolin on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to the Bunya Highway about 7:00am after reports that a 4WD had left the road and rolled.

The driver is believed to have lost control in the wet conditions.

The vehicle crashed through a fence and ended up in a paddock by the side of the road.

Police, ambulance and fire brigade attended the scene.

The QAS, which were called to a string of crashes in south-east Queensland on Saturday, has urged drivers to take extra care on the slippery roads.

“It’s not a race,” a spokesperson said.

“If you get behind the wheel today remember: drive to the conditions, stick to the speed limit and don’t touch your mobile phone.”
