Crime Stoppers launched “Operation Roam: Rogue Radar” on Monday … a national to search to help find 18 fugitives wanted for questioning  in connection with various offences around Australia.

Operation Roam is running from August 21 to 27.

Four fugitives are wanted in NSW, four in Queensland, six in Victoria, three in South Australia and one in the Northern Territory, however authorities say each could be anywhere in the country.

Crime Stoppers is calling on members of the public to be on the lookout for the people named on the “Rogue Radar” list … they could potentially be hidden in plain sight in communities across Australia.

Queensland Fugitives

Acting Assistant Commissioner David Tucker said Operation Roam was a great initiative with a successful history of tracking down those wanted by law enforcement agencies across the country.

“Operation Roam exists because these offenders like to roam around the country, ensuring they can settle somewhere no one recognises them,” he said.

“These people go rogue, leaving the communities where they are known and create a life for themselves somewhere else.

“We urge you to keep an eye out for anyone who looks familiar to the descriptions and photos provided, and report any information you have to Crime Stoppers.”

Crime Stoppers Queensland CEO Trevor O’Hara said the  individuals named in this year’s Operation Roam were allegedly responsible for a range of offences, including murder, drug trafficking, armed robbery and fraud.

“These criminals could be working alongside you in your community. It might be a new person you’ve noticed in your area or a more familiar face such as a neighbour, work colleague, customer, friend or even a family relative,” he said.

“We ask members of the public to put these faces on your radar but do not approach them under any circumstances.

“Simply contact Crime Stoppers on 1800-333-000, report your information online or download our mobile app to report information.”

UPDATE: Kathleen and Jonathan Grey were arrested by police in South Australia on Monday afternoon.
