The South Burnett Regional Council Council will be starting culvert renewal works on Stonelands Road at Stonelands on Monday (September 4).
The works, in an area approximately 1.8kms from Hivesville Road, will involve construction of a side track around the work area for vehicles.
After thre side track is built, the road will be closed to allow the removal of the old culverts and installation of new ones.
Gravel pavement and bitumen will be reinstated prior to the road being reopened.
The project is expected to be completed in late September, weather permitting.
During construction, signage will be in place to provide a safe work environment for Council staff and a safe path for vehicles around the work area.
