A young boy was taken to hospital on Monday afternoon after his bicycle was allegedly hit by a car in the Kingaroy CBD.
The incident occurred on the corner of Haly and George streets, beside the South Burnett Times office.
An ambulance was called to the scene at 2:40pm.
It is believed the child may have been riding along the footpath when the incident occurred.
He was transported in a stable condition to Kingaroy Hospital.
No further information is available.
