A driver has been fined $1137 – and had his licence suspended for six months – after police clocked him doing 109km/h in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, about lunchtime  on Wednesday.

Senior Constable Jade Miller said the man would also lose eight points off his licence.

Also on Wednesday, the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit intercepted a 35-year-old Cherbourg woman on Youngman Street.

She was issued with a notice to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on June 19 on a charge of unlicensed driving.

The unit pulled over a 36-year-old Nanango man in Appin Street, Nanango, on Tuesday.

He has been issued with a notice to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on July 20 to face a charge of drug driving.
