A free workshop to help inspire local businesspeople will be held in Kingaroy next week.

The workshop is being organised by the State Government’s Office of Small Business and will feature a number of local speakers.

The aim is to boost confidence, network and talk to experts about business challenges.

Guest presenters include:

  • Kristy Frahm, Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation (BIEDO): Discussing business growth in Kingaroy
  • Josh Gadischke, Proteco: Talking about commercialisation and business sustainability
  • Tina Torrens, Torkit: Discussing strategy and sustainable growth
  • James Eckart, Cyonic Computers: Drawing from his experience to talk about the IT industry in Kingaroy
  • Scott Kapernick, Teys Australia Murgon: Talking about sustainability in business
  • Derek Charlwood, South Burnett Garage Doors: Sharing his experience as a small business owner and discussing the challenges for a growing small business

The workshop will be held on from 8:30am to 5:00pm on Thursday, April 27, at the Kingaroy Town Hall Reception Room.

Participants are invited to sign up for no-obligation one-to-one sessions with mentors who have extensive and relevant expertise.
