A man aged in his 30s had been airlifted to a Brisbane hospital after a parachute jump went wrong at Toogoolawah on Friday.

The man is believed to suffered serious injuries in a “hard landing”.

QAS paramedics were called to the scene to assist the man, who suffered suffered suspected spinal and head injuries and a broken right femur.

The Toowoomba based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew were despatched at 10:59am.

The man was airlifted in a stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane.
