Guests who come to Wine and Food In The Park early this year will receive bonus tickets so they can get free gifts … anything from free bottled water through to a slushie, a cap or even a wine cooler

March 10, 2017

Guests who come early to Wine and Food In The Park will get a special gift this year – and they can even choose what it will be.

They’ll receive 5 bonus tickets with their wristband when they pay to enter the grounds – and they’re valuable, so don’t throw them away!

While stocks last, these bonus tickets can be redeemed at the Festival’s site office on the day for a range of very useful stuff.

Two tickets will secure a free bottle of water, which will save you $1-$2.

Five tickets will get you a free slushie in a flashing plastic wine glass – eat the slushie, keep the glass – or a Wine & Food In The Park cap, both of which normally retail for $6.

And couples who want to put 10 tickets together will be able to redeem them for a Wine & Food In The Park wine bottle cooler, which normally costs $12.

“We had to put our entry price for the Festival up to $20 last year because costs just keep on rising,” Festival president Chrys McDuffie said.

“But we have some merchandise left over from our last production run and we thought – hey! – why not reward our guests with it to say “thank you!” for coming along.”

Chrys estimates there are about 10 cartons of assorted merchandise available, and the Festival has also ordered up big on bottled water.

All the same, stocks won’t last all day so you’ll need to get in early to cash out your free tickets.

This year’s Wine and Food In The Park will be held at Memorial Park in Haly Street, Kingaroy from noon to 8:00pm.

The Festival’s site office is located in the festival grounds and will be clearly marked.

But if in doubt, just look for the brightly coloured slushie machine.
