FLASHBACK: Cordell Rogerson practises his slide around a corner of the Kingaroy junior motorcycle speedway track

Local junior speedway rider Cordell Rogerson has dominated the points in both the 125cc and 250cc categories after the last round of the Kingaroy Bees’ season.

Round 4 of the Kingaroy McDonalds Series Club was raced at the weekend.

PeeWee riders Cohan Sanders, Coen Lester, Will Trace and Nate Andrewartha entertained onlookers in their non-competitive turns on the track.

In the 125cc category, Rogerson took out first spot, ahead of Flynn Nicol and Kyle Tessmann.

Rogerson also won in the 250cc, beating Nelson Masters and Brock Tregea.

Overall season points (accumulated over four race days in 2016):

  • 125cc – 1st Cordell Rogerson, 2nd Flynn Nicol, 3rd Kyle Tessmann
  • 250cc – 1st Cordell Rogerson, 2nd Brock Tregea, 3rd Nelson Masters
