The manicured gardens at Nanango’s Ringsfield House hosted an afternoon of fine music recently when the South Burnett Community Orchestra presented “Spring Strings & Winds”.

The orchestra’s string players were joined by woodwind and brass players at the Coach House, an open air performance area located at the rear of the historic building.

Guests enjoyed glasses of wine and cheese platters as they relaxed on the lawn or under shade sails.

The gig provided a perfect opportunity for the orchestra to try out their new sound gear, purchased with assistance from Heritage Community Branch, Nanango.

The South Burnett Community Orchestra’s next big event will be their annual Kumbia Concert, which will be held at the Kumbia Memorial Hall on November 26. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday (October 26) at Office Central in Haly Street, Kingaroy.
