Former Kingaroy Red Ant Marcus Jensen has signed a two-year rugby league deal with the North Queensland Cowboys.
Jensen has been playing in the club’s U20s side in 2016, which is currently in second spot on the Holden Cup ladder.
He was one of three signings announced by the club on Tuesday.
Jensen, who plays on the wing, joined the Cowboys Under 20s program this year.
Cowboys’ coaching staff say they have been impressed with his speed and classy finishing on the edges.
Cowboys head coach Paul Green said Marcus has had a standout first season under Aaron Payne playing in the National Youth Competition.
