A Special Meeting of the South Burnett Regional Council has been called for next Wednesday (September 7) at the Council Chambers in Glendon Street, Kingaroy.
The meeting will consider tenders for the lease and operation of the W.J. Lang Memorial Pool complex in Alford Street, Kingaroy, for the next two years.
The successful tenderer will have options to extend this lease twice by another 12 months.
Council is currently working on a plan to modernise and upgrade the building at the complex.
Facilities at the complex include a 50 metre Olympic-size swimming pool, fully enclosed heated learn-to-swim pool, children’s wading pool with new water features, and a beach volleyball court.
