There just three tables left to fill – as well as a couple of single or double  spots –  for the black tie “The Sky’s The Limit” charity ball at Kingaroy Town Hall on May 21.

The ball is being organised by Kingaroy Rotary and Kingaroy Police as a fundraiser for the RACQ CareFlight helicopter rescue service.

Organiser Sgt Wayne Bushell said tickets were strictly limited to 350 (35 tables) and had been selling quickly.

Tickets are $100 each or $900 for a table of 10.

A three-course meal will be prepared by Eddie McGregor, formerly from the Burke and Wills, and Sgt Bushell.

There will also be a charity auction on the night.

South Burnett businesses and RACQ CareFlight have been donating items to go under the hammer.

However, the highlight of the auction will definitely be the five-course degustation dinner for eight people, plus accommodation, at Ravensbourne Escape

Chef Eddie is taking over the restaurant at the tourism destination which is located on on the eastern escarpment of the Great Dividing Range adjacent to Ravensbourne National Park.

Tickets for the Sky’s The Limit ball can be booked at the Kingaroy Police Station in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy (next door to the Department of Transport).
