The Kingaroy Local Ambulance Committee has donated more that $2100 worth of training books for use at the Kingaroy Ambulance Station.

LAC president John Box said the 18 books, valued at $2131, would be used by paramedic trainees at the station.

The textbooks join other training aids at the station, including anatomical models and two life-like training models used to practise defibrillation, cannulation, injections etc

Tim Westerweel has almost completed his traineeship at the station.

After completing a Bachelor of Paramedic Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast, he was placed at Kingaroy to complete the 12-month program.
