A Kingaroy woman who chose to desex her pet dog during the RSPCA’s recent “Operation Wanted” campaign has won a new Harley Davidson motorbike.

Sharon Ford had her five-year-old Rottweiler Molly desexed at the Barambah Veterinary Surgery in Kingaroy.

She won a Harley Davidson Forty-Eight 2015 XL1200X ’48, valued at $20,000.

RSPCA spokesman Michael Beattie said Sharon was a bike lover and keen rider.

Nearly 200 vets across Queensland signed up to offer 20 per cent discounts during the three-month campaign.

Final figures have yet to be confirmed but the RSPCA estimates estimated that between 17,000 and 20,000 pets were desexed because of the campaign.

There were four prizes prizes up for grabs.

A Harley Davidson Fat Boy Motorcycle 2015 FLSTF, valued at $30,000, was won by Daryl Foyle who got his one-year-old cat Simba desexed at Wellington Point.

Third and fourth prizes of $500 online pet store vouchers were won by Kristian Mills, of the Gold Coast, and the Sullivan family. from Proserpine.
