Mulanah Gardens owner Rhonda Kath makes sure her guests are well-fed

South Burnett And Cherbourg On ShowOctober 2, 2015

One of the South Burnett’s best-kept secrets for a relaxing afternoon lunch is tucked away on a dirt road about 20km south-west of Kingaroy.

Mulanah Gardens, owned by Rhonda and Lindsay Kath, is well-known as a B&B and a wedding venue, but fewer people realise they can enjoy lunch or a light snack there while enjoying the gardens.

The Kaths kicked off their Sunday cafe experience in 2013 and it’s run every Sunday from 10:00am-4:00pm ever since, unless the venue is booked for a wedding or conference.

Mulanah Gardens specialise in light meals, with a different winter and summer menu, and cakes and slices.

And over the South Burnett & Cherbourg On Show long weekend, they’ll be open on both Sunday and Monday with a different experience on offer each day.

On Sunday, October 4 Kingsley Grove Winery will be providing wine tastings and sales at the Gardens, and popular local musician Steve Peterson will be providing live entertainment.

And on Monday, the Gardens will be holding a BYO Experience (ie you bring your favourite tipple, and Mulanah Gardens supply the catering)

Mulanah Gardens is located at 736 Deep Creek Road at Inverlaw, and you can contact them on (07) 4164-3142.
