A driver lost control of their vehicle, crossed onto the wrong side of the D’Aguilar Highway at South Nanango and then rolled three times on Sunday morning … allegedly while texting on a mobile phone.

Sergeant Jason Newton, officer-in-charge of Nanango police, said the 25-year-old woman had been issued with a notice to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on September 24 to face a charge of driving without due care and attention.

The incident occurred about 9:30am near the intersection with Elouera Drive.

The two people in the vehicle, believed to be from Brisbane, were taken to Kingaroy Hospital for assessment.
