An elderly driver managed to get his vehicle and trailer stuck in the McDonald’s drive-thru on Thursday morning.

The 60-year-old man had attempted to drive up the lane in the wrong direction before getting stuck.

Senior Sergeant Duane Frank said it appeared the man had become disoriented.

The driver was taken to Kingaroy Hospital for assessment.

A 30-year-old woman has been issued with a notice to appear in court after police stopped her vehicle in Markwell Street, Kingaroy, on Saturday at 2:00pm.

Police will allege she was driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

A 19-year-old man has been charged with shop stealing after he allegedly stole a set of earplugs … on his birthday.

Snr Sgt Frank said police received a complaint from the Dollars and Sense store, near SupaIGA, in Kingaroy on Monday about 12:30pm.

Police located a man and a woman nearby in Avoca Street.

The man allegedly admitted taking the earplugs and putting them down his pants.

He was issued with a notice to appear in court.

Police have taken a man into custody who was wanted on two outstanding warrants.

Snr Sgt Frank said the man was also facing a wilful damage charge in relation to an earlier incident in Kingaroy when a steel bar was allegedly thrown through the windscreen of a vehicle.

The man was arrested on Wednesday in Alford Street, Kingaroy.
