A man and a woman suffered minor injuries when their car hit an embankment and overturned on the D’Aguilar Highway near Yarraman on Monday night.

The car flipped and ended up back on its wheels.

Officer-in-Charge of Yarraman Police, Sergeant Sean Relf, said the incident occurred shortly after 8:00pm.

A 24-year-old-man and a 21-year-old woman were taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital for treatment and observation.

Police, QAS, QFES and SES attended the scene, and the highway was blocked for a short time.

Police investigations are continuing.

Meanwhile, two people have been transported by ambulance to Jandowae Hospital after a single vehicle crash on Wondai-Chinchilla Road at Jinghi, south of Durong, on Wednesday afternoon.

Paramedics were called to the incident about 3:00pm.
