Two men have been flown to the PA Hospital in Brisbane after their vehicle hit two cows and then crashed into a tree near Durong on Tuesday night.

Emergency services personnel were called to the crash scene, on the Chinchilla Wondai Road, just before 7:00pm.

A QAS spokesperson said a man aged in his mid-20s suffered facial and suspected chest injuries; a man in his mid-40s suffered suspected leg and chest injuries.

The State Government’s rescue helicopter landed on the road to evacuate the patients.

QAS and QFES crews attended the scene.
