Former Australian netball captain Vicki Wilson

Commonwealth Games Gold medallist and former Australian netball captain Vicki Wilson will be the special guest speaker at a free women’s health expo in Kingaroy next month.

Vicki started playing netball in 1972 at at the age of seven.

By the time she retired in 1999, she had earned 104 test caps and had represented Australia for 15 years, the the last four as captain.

She will be joined at the expo by presenters talking about women in sport and  local health and well-being providers.

There will also be information available about the “Get Out Get Active” gym program which starts on May 18.

And there will be a free breakfast available.

The Get Out Get Active expo will be held from 8:30am to 11:30am on Saturday, May 9, at Kingaroy Town Hall.

The expo is being sponsored by the South Burnett Regional Council and the State Government.
