Would-be thieves who targeted freight trailers at a Kingaroy business earlier this month appear to have struck again.

On the night of February 19-20, an unknown number of people caused at least $7000 damage after slashing the canvas side curtains on six tautliners parked in a business in Somerset Street in a bid to gain entry.

Exactly a week later, February 26-27, five trailers were damaged at the same business in the same way.

The thieves are believed to have left empty-handed on both occasions.

The offenders are believed to have entered the yard by climbing over a fence.

CCTV footage from the business is being reviewed.

Anyone with information about either incident should call Crime Stoppers on 1800-333-00.
