Two people suffered minor injuries in a head-on crash on the D’Aguilar Highway, south of Nanango, this afternoon.

The crash, which occurred just before 3:00pm, blocked the highway for about an hour while emergency workers attended the scene.

A police spokesman said it appeared one of the vehicles may have drifted into the path of the other.

Both drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles – an 18-year-old male in a trayback work utility, and a middle-aged woman in a Holden Colorado dual-cab ute.

They were taken by separate ambulances to Kingaroy Hospital.

Both vehicles were badly damaged in the collision.

Police investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
