Blackbutt Visitor Information Centre volunteers and their partners last week attended a thank you celebration acknowledging the contribution they have made promoting Blackbutt and the South Burnett region in 2014.

The volunteers enjoyed a Christmas lunch at Bunya Nut Café in Blackbutt where they were thanked on behalf of the Mayor by Council’s Senior Officer Community and Events, Michael Hunter.

The Blackbutt Visitor Information Centre, which is located in Les Muller Park in the centre of Blackbutt, is the gateway to the South Burnett region for visitors travelling out of Brisbane.

The centre is open daily as result of the dedication by 24 community volunteers.
