Kingaroy’s annual celebration of everything with motors – be it big, small, flying, crawling, racing or stationary – is on again on Saturday at Kingaroy Airport.

This is the fourth time that Motors In Motion has been held but it could be the last year that it’s an annual event with organisers suggesting that from now on it could run on alternate years to the new Wondai Sprints (although this is yet to be confirmed).

A highlight of this year’s event is sure to be the drifting display put on by professional drifter Robby Mounfield and his team (see YouTube video above).

They’ll hit the bitumen at 11:00am and 3:00pm.

The always-popular V8 Tractor pull will be held from 1:15pm in the special arena built by the Kingaroy Vintage Machinery Club.

There’ll also be joyflights available to book as well as heaps of static displays of bikes, cars and machinery.

Entry is just $5 with under 16s free.
