Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Shell Nanango last night.

A police spokesman said that about 10:50pm, a man, pictured at left, walked into the service station on Henry Street and produced a knife.

He demanded money and cigarettes from the attendant, who handed him a sum of cash and cigarettes.

The man then fled on foot, heading towards Drayton Street.

The female attendant was not physically injured during the robbery.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, in his early 20s with scars on his face and an eyebrow ring.
