Rangers at the Bunya National Park will be celebrating World Ranger Day next week by hosting special Ranger-guided walks at the park.

The walks will cover the 4km Scenic Circuit trail in the park.

There will be two walks held next Saturday and Sunday (August 2-3):

  • Saturday: 9:00am-10:00am; and 11:00am-noon
  • Sunday: 9:00am-10:00am; and 11:00am-noon

Walkers should meet at the Dandabah car park; wear walking shoes, a hat and warm clothing, and bring water.

World Ranger Day (July 31) celebrates the work that rangers do to protect the world’s natural and cultural treasures, and commemorates rangers killed or injured in the line of duty.
