A 27-year-old Kingaroy man sentenced to jail for the attempted armed robbery of the Kingaroy McDonald’s wrote a racist rant on Facebook about the restaurant just days before the incident.

The District Court was told on Monday that Benjamin Roy O’Hanlon Clarke, wearing a balaclava and armed with a knife, demanded money from a female worker at McDonald’s on December 9 last year, frightening customers and the employee.

Judge Julie Ryrie sentenced Clarke to four years jail with a parole eligibility date of February 9, 2017.

southburnett.com.au has learned that just days before the incident – on November 28 – Clarke wrote on Facebook (sic):

S**t man I’m drunk as f**k. Wasted as. And starving …  when did maccas become every boarder jumpers dream? Went in and not one f**king aussie all boarder jumping, air stealing, immagrents. F**k this s**t f**k of where full. And I don’t won’t some third world country swine touching my food. Yhis is australia, home of ned kelly, vb, xxxx, free speach, bogan pride and flip flops. Not a f**king stimping ground for all u rag head mother f**kers. You all disgrace this country. It sometimes makes me ashamed to be an aussie sometimes just knowing 100s of parasites are flooding our beautiful country and our goverment does s**t. Clarke was on parole at the time he raided the McDonald’s store.
