Meet the guest speakers:

Greg Blewett made his Test debut against England at Adelaide in January 1995 where he made a century (102 n/o including 12 fours).

CricInfo described Blewett as a “stylish and fluent strokemaker with a particular liking for the pull, hook, cut and cover drive”. He was also “an excellent fielder (as the video below shows) and a more than handy medium-pace bowler”.

These days he’s a commentator with Fox Sports.

Kingaroy’s own cricketing hero, Holly Ferling, bowled for Australia in this year’s Women’s Ashes Tour of England.

Ferling was recently selected for the Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship and Mentoring Program for 2014.

She made her international debut for Australia in the ICC World Cup in India in February and was named the Wide Bay Cricket Senior Cricketer of the Year in March. In 2012, she made history as the first woman to win the Ken Mackay Trophy for Queensland Junior Cricketer of the Year.
