Five South Burnett community groups in the Nanango electorate have received a financial boost from the State Government’s “Caring For Our Community” grants program.
Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington said the grants provided “a fantastic opportunity to improve community facilities and upgrade resources whether it is a printer, computer or a fridge”.
“A small boost like this can go a long way for our community groups and their volunteers,” she said.
The successful applicants were:
- Nanango & District Netball Association
- Crawford State School P&C Association
- Growing The Burnett
- Taromeo Rural Fire Brigade
- Ironpot Hall Association
