The best of the South Burnett’s many show winners were selected on Saturday to represent the region at the Brisbane Exhibition next month.
The Goomeri Show Society hosted the Sub-Chamber Finals in conjunction with the Goomeri Beef Bonanza at the local showgrounds.
Winners of the various competitions were announced at the Presentation Dinner held on Saturday night at the Hall of Memory.
The winner of the Miss Showgirl competition was Tamara Birrer of Nanango. Runner-up was Nakita Smart of Murgon.
Rural Ambassador winner was Amy Wicks, of Nanango.
The Beef Young Judges competition was decided as part of the Goomeri Beef Bonanza. Winners were Chloe Gould (stud category) and Brent Evans (prime).
Winners of the Dairy competition were Keith Black (Dairy Handler) and Nathan Trace (Young Judge).

The hotly contested Dark Rich Fruitcake competition was won by Denise Nothdurft, of Nanango, with Edna O’Neill, of Murgon, runner-up.
