Bike Rider Injured In Accident

A motorcycle rider has been airlifted to hospital after an accident near Manar Road at Boondooma yesterday morning.

The man, 22, was taken to Nambour Hospital by the AGL Rescue Helicopter service in a serious condition.

An Emergency Services spokesman said an ambulance crew arrived at the scene at 9:15am.

Ambulance officers treated the rider, who was reported to be conscious and alert, before he was flown out by helicopter.
