This particular celestial event is so rare it hasn't happened in the South Burnett since 1866 (ie 151 years ago), so it's truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The best vantage points will be open, flat ground or any hilltop with a clear view to the north, and preferably away from any bright lights.
