Proston Rally The Proston Car Rally Club will be holding the second (and final) day of their first quarterly CAMS Khanacross Multiclub Rally for 2015 at their track this morning. The club's track is located 7.5km west of Proston on the Proston-Boondooma Road, and racing will commence around 8:00am and conclude with results and awards around 1:30pm. Up to 50 cars attend Proston Rally Club meetings from all over Queensland and NSW and spectators are very welcome. There'll be a BBQ and soft drinks stand running throughout the event, as well as a hearty breakfast supplied by the Proston Lions club. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The event - organised by the Boondooma Dam Fish Stocking Association in conjunction with a bevy of sponsors - will have adult and junior sections and numerous cash prizes for each weigh-in period. A licensed bar, BBQ and food and drink stalls will be operating for the duration and accommodation for competitors is available at the adjoining Lake Boondooma Tourist Park. Competition entry fees are $20 for adults and $5 for children and all competitors will need to have a Stocked Impoundment Permit to take part. The event - organised by the Boondooma Dam Fish Stocking Association in conjunction with a bevy of sponsors - will have adult and junior sections and numerous cash prizes for each weigh-in period.
