Seafood Sunday Buffet - Bunya Mountains
Lyrics Restaurant at Dandabah in the Bunya Mountains - just behind the Bunya Mountains General Store - will be holding their monthly "Seafood Sunday" from 11:00am onwards today (lunch will be served from around noon). The fully-licensed restaurant will be offering a 100% fresh, all-you-can-eat seafood smorgasboard, serving seafoods obtained from the coast yesterday. Wondai Home Produce Share
The third monthly Wondai Home Produce Share will be held outside Dimities Cottage at 49 Haly Street in Wondai's CBD from 9:00am to about 10:30am this morning. The share is for people who have excess home produce they would like to swap or gift to others (non-food items can also be swapped) and the event has been organised by the South Burnett Permaculture group. Car Boot Sale - Kingaroy
Kingaroy Dance Supporters will be holding a Car Boot Sale in the rear carpark of Kingaroy's Broadway Hotel (opposite Shoppingworld) from 6:00am to 1:00pm today. There'll be a sausage sizzle, raffles and face painting, and site fees are just $10. Proceeds will go towards Kingaroy Dance Academy's USA tour team. Everyone is welcome!
Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Maidenwell Markets
If you're heading up to the Bunya Mountains today, go via Maidenwell and you can browse the Maidenwell Markets at the Maidenwell Sportsgrounds (just next to the Rural Fire Brigade HQ in the heart of town) between 8:00am and 12:00 noon this morning. These markets offer a range of arts and crafts, local produce, plants, home baking, bric-a-brac, sauces, jams, chutneys, coffee, food and lots more (there's even a jumping castle for children). Stallholder fees are very modest and all proceeds go to the Maidenwell Community Group for the development of the township. Everyone is welcome! More details? Phone Robyn on 0423-032-080.
Animal Foster Carer Training Course - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy RSPCA at Warren Truss Drive, Kingaroy Airport will be holding a free, 2-hour animal foster carer training course from 10:00am to around noon today. The course is being presented by RSPCA State Foster Care Coordinator, Julie Herbert, and will teach participants how the foster program operates; the role of a foster carer; how to ensure a safe home environment; safe animal transportation; feeding your foster animal; introducing foster animals to your own pets; promoting good behaviours; toilet training; exercise, play, environmental exposure and socialisation; bathing and grooming; health care and when to seek veterinary help. Blackbutt RSL Annual General Meeting
The Blackbutt RSL at the corner of Douglas and Muir Streets in Blackbutt will be holding its Annual General Meeting at 10:00am this morning for league and social members. Social members can nominate themselves (or other social members) for the committee and for any position except President, Secretary, Treasurer and Delegate. Social members are also not allowed to vote on League matters. Right now, the club requires nominations for the position of Bar Manager, Kitchen Manager and Grounds Manager, and any volunteers who can assist in these vital positions will help ensure the club's success. Nominations close on Sunday, February 19 but if there is no nomination to a position by that date, you can nominate today at the AGM. Sunday Poker - Kingaroy

The Timbertown Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Essential Oils For Health & Wellness - Booie
Susan Pini from Barefoot Essentials will be hosting a free morning tea at Cassis Restaurant at the corner of Haydens and Schellbachs Roads at Booie from 10:30am to 12:30pm this morning to discuss the health benefits she and her family have found from using pure essential oils.
