Visit South Burnett Meeting - Kingaroy
A meeting to introduce the new Visit South Burnett local tourism organisation will be held at the 1913 Council Chambers in Edward Street, Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 6:30pm this evening. Visit South Burnett are a new grassroots organisation of local tourism operators working in partnership with the South Burnett Regional Council to revamp tourism marketing, and the meetings will allow local tourism operators to hear and discuss VSB's plans and join the organisation if they wish. VSB is led by Jason Kinsella from Moffatdale Ridge and several other long-established South Burnett tourism operators, and the new organisation will be officially launched next month. Healthy Pregnancies & Bright Futures - Nanango
Nanango Library in Drayton Street, Nanango will be hosting the launch of Healthy Pregnancies & Bright Futures at 10:00am this morning. The project, run in partnership with the Local Drug Action Team, aims to raise awareness about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and create supportive communities for pregnant women. Tuesday Croquet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Croquet Club will be playing croquet games at the Kingaroy Cricket Club in Youngman Street, Kingaroy (just next to Beangrowers) from 9:00am to around noon this morning. Yarraman Morning Card Games
After a break for the festive season, Heritage House at 26 Millar Street in Yarraman will be resuming its weekly Tuesday morning 500 card games from 10:00am to around 1:00pm today, followed by a light lunch. Kingaroy Twilight Crafts Night
The Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch will be holding their first Tuesday of the month craft night at the QCWA Rooms next to Kingaroy RSL in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to around 8:00pm. The Twilight Branch is a special branch of the QCWA designed for working women and busy mums. It meets in the evenings and is separate from the traditional Kingaroy branch (which meets during the day). The Twilight Branch is open to all women who'd like to take part in QCWA activities and guests should bring along a plate for a shared supper. New members are always very welcome! More details? Tuesday Night Trivia - Kingaroy

The club is for motoring enthusiasts - any make, model and vintage are welcome - and in addition to sharing their love of motoring, members take part in monthly runs and attend other local events for Show & Shines. Indoor Bowls - Wondai
The Wondai Indoor Bowls Club will be holding its regular Tuesday meeting at the Wondai Town Hall in Mackenzie Street, Wondai at 7:30pm this evening. Three games of 12 ends are played, lasting up to three hours, and playing fees are $3. Nanango Theatre Company Auditions
The Nanango Theatre Company will be holding auditions at 3:30pm this afternoon for their first production of 2020, a series of three one-act plays. Auditions will be held at the NTC Playhouse at the corner of Elk and George Streets, Nanango and men, women and students of all ages are welcome. However, if you can't make it today there'll be a second round at the same location this Thursday at 6:00pm.
Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough. Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Nanango every Tuesday from 5:30pm at the Catholic Church Hall in Alfred Street (next to St Patrick's school). For more information, phone 0427-289-990.
