Wondai QCWA Meeting
- The Wondai branch of the QCWA will be holding their regular first Monday of the month meeting at the QCWA Rooms in Mackenzie Street, Wondai at 10:00am this morning. All interested people are welcome.
Kumbia Hall Committee Meeting
- The Kumbia Hall Committee will be holding its first Monday of the month meeting in the meeting room at the front of Kumbia Hall in Bell Street at 8:00pm this evening. New members are very welcome! Hivesville QCWA Meeting

Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club
- The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be holding its monthly meeting from 10:00am to noon this morning at the Senior Citizen Hall located at the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets (opposite SupaIGA). Proston QCWA Meeting
- The Proston QCWA will be holding their regular monthly meeting at the CWA Rooms in Rodney Street, Proston (just down from the Proston Community Hall) at 9:00am this morning. Potential new members are always very welcome! The group holds a general meeting on the first Monday of every month except January, and craft days most other Mondays. More details? Murgon SES Training Night
- The Murgon SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at the SES Building in Gore Street, Murgon from 7:00pm to 9:00pm tonight. Anyone from the Murgon district who's interested in joining the SES (or simply finding out more about what's involved) is very welcome to come along.
School Holiday Activities - Nanango
- Creative Connections at 8 George Street in Nanango (formerly the Winds Of Change Art Gallery) will be holding school holiday activities for children and their parents from 9:00am to 11:30am today. Children will be able to take part in Xtreme Painting and Clay Play, while parents can learn card making in a separate workshop. Children under 5 are welcome to participate with parental supervision, and children aged 5-12 will be supervised by the event facilitators, who all have a Blue Card. Course fees are $10 for children, $5 for parents and include morning tea, but a booking is necessary to plan catering and staffing. More details? Phone Nazrin on 0415-392-466.
Motorcycle Friendly Steering Committee - Murgon
- The inaugural South Burnett Motorcycle Friendly Steering Committee meeting will be held at 7:00pm this evening at the Royal Hotel in Lamb Street, Murgon. The aim of the meeting is to support a recent decision by the South Burnett Regional Council to declare the South Burnett a motorcycle friendly region, and carry that decision further. Organisers think the meeting would be of interest to all tourist operators, cafes, fuel stops and accommodation providers in the South Burnett, and everyone is welcome along. More details? PCYC School Vacation Activities
- The South Burnett PCYC will be offering school holiday activities at Taabinga State School, Cherbourg and Murgon today. At Taabinga, there'll be a Wheels Day - kids should BYO bike, skateboard or scooter plus a helmet. At Cherbourg, there'll be cricket and 3-on-3 basketball. Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
- Bingo games will be held at Nukku Nook at the head of the Blackbutt Rail Trail in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening (eyes down at 7:30pm sharp).
