Play School Once Upon A Time Concert - Kingaroy
- A Play School concert will be performed at Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy at 10:00am today to celebrate the Kingaroy Kindergarten Association's 40th birthday. Tickets are $19.80 plus a booking fee and they can be booked online, but children under 12 months of age are free. This morning's concert is a fundraiser for the Kindy as well as the first time in a very long time that the cast of Play School have been in the South Burnett, giving children a rare chance to see their favourite TV friends in person. Everyone is welcome!
South Burnett Regional Council Budget Meeting
- The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding a special meeting at the Glendon Street Council Chambers in Kingaroy at 9:00am this morning to hand down its 2018-19 Budget. The meeting is open to the public.
Beef Production Information Day - Booubyjan
- A free Beef Production Information Day jointly hosted by the South East Burnett Landcare Group and BMRG will be held at Booubyjan Hall at 36 Booubyjan Hall Road from 9:00am to 2:00pm today. Terry Nolan, from Nolan’s Meats, will be a guest speaker along with vet Dr Andrew Marland and Damien O’Sullivan from DAF Kingaroy (who'll provide an update on pasture dieback and GRT grass). Monday Ukulele Club - Wondai
- The Wondai Ukulele Club will be holding its regular Monday afternoon meeting at the Wondai Regional Art Gallery Studio on the roundabout at Wondai from 1:00pm today. While the club largely focusses on ukuleles, other instruments are also welcome. More details? Phone Graham on 0411-821-493.
Murgon SES Training Night
- The Murgon SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at the SES Building in Gore Street, Murgon from 7:00pm to 9:00pm tonight. Anyone from the Murgon district who's interested in joining the SES (or simply finding out more about what's involved) is very welcome to come along.
Cooinda Craft Group - Kingaroy
- The Cooinda Craft Group will be holding its regular Monday morning meeting at the Town Common Hall in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to 1:30pm today. Members of the group pursue a variety of crafts and newcomers are always welcome.
Wondai SES Training Night
- The Wondai SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at their shed in McCord Street, Wondai from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Sing Australia Meeting - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett branch of the Sing Australia singing group will be holding their regular Monday night meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy (opposite Shoppingworld) from 7:00pm to around 9:00pm this evening. The group have a welcoming, inclusive and fun approach to singing and meet every Monday except for school and public holidays. Proston Scout Group Meeting
- The Proston Scout troop will be holding their regular Monday night meeting at their Railway Park den in Rodney Street from 5:00pm to 7:00pm tonight.
Graham House Community Kitchen - Murgon
- The Graham House Community Kitchen will be holding its regular Monday morning meeting at the Graham House Community Centre in Taylor Street, Murgon from 10:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning. Community Kitchen members learn how to cook a variety of budget conscious home-cooked meals, then sit down together for a communal lunch afterwards to enjoy the results. Monday Night Line Dancing - Proston
- Line dancing classes will be held at the Proston Community Hall in Rodney Street, Proston tonight. A beginners class will run at 5:00pm and an advanced class at 6:30pm. Class fees are $5 per head and everyone is welcome!
Kumbia Quilt & Craft Group
