Australia's Biggest Morning Tea - Wondai

An Australia's Biggest Morning Tea will be held at the Wondai Diggers Club in Mackenzie Street, Wondai from 10:00am to around noon this morning. The morning tea will raise funds for the Queensland Cancer Council to assist help them research the causes and treatments of various cancers. It also allows guests to meet and share their experiences with others, and open up support avenues for one another in their day-to-day struggles. In addition to a great morning tea, today's get-together will feature raffles, an auction and entertainment, as well as invited Guests who'll answer questions. Everyone is welcome! More details? Tuesday Night Trivia - Kingaroy

Watoto Children's Choir - Kingaroy

The acclaimed Watoto Children's Choir will be appearing in concert at Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy at 7:00pm this evening as part of their "Signs & Wonders" tour - an inspirational night of African singing and dancing. Watoto is a non-profit organisation that cares for orphans in Uganda, and the choir is composed entirely of Ugandan orphans. The group have performed in the South Burnett many times over the years. Admission to the concert is free and everyone is welcome.

South Burnett Chorale - Kingaroy

The South Burnett Chorale will be holding their regular Tuesday practice night at the Church of Christ Hall at the corner of Haly and Burnett Streets in Kingaroy from 7:00pm to 9:00pm this evening. Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough.
