Taromeo Country Music Club Social - Blackbutt
The Taromeo Country Music Club will be holding their first bi-monthly Sunday social for 2018 at the Blackbutt Golf Club in Langton Road, Blackbutt from 10:00am to around 4:00pm today. Entertainment will be provided by the visiting and guest artists. There'll also be multi-draw raffles, a money board, a licensed bar, plenty of food and refreshments and - of course! - lots of great country music and dancing. Admission is still only $5 with bottomless tea or coffee and and free afternoon tea as well. Lunch will also be available for a small charge. Everyone is welcome!
Les Miserables Audition Session - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Musical Comedy Society will be holding rehearsals for adult Les Miserables cast and chorus members this weekend. The production will be performed in May, and auditions will be held at the held at Kingaroy State High School’s S Block Dance Room today. You can obtain more details on the SMBCS website.
Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. New members who are interested in learning woodwork are always welcome and you can obtain more details by phoning Marcia on (07) 4170-0389
Blackbutt Country Markets
The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held at Les Muller Park in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around mid-day today. The markets offer a wide range of locally produced arts, crafts and and freshly harvested foodstuffs and everyone is welcome along! More details? Phone Ivan on (07) 4170-0068.
