Proston QCWA Crafts Group
- The Proston QCWA Crafts Group will be holding their regular meeting at the Proston QCWA Rooms in Rodney Street from 9:00am to 2:00pm today. The group meets on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Mondays of each month, and you don't need to be a QCWA member to attend. More details? Phone (07) 4168-9391.
Sing Australia Meeting
- The South Burnett branch of the Sing Australia singing group will be holding their regular Monday night meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy (opposite Shoppingworld) from 7:00pm to around 9:00pm this evening. The group have a welcoming, inclusive and fun approach to singing and meet every Monday except for school and public holidays. SBRC Roadshow - Wondai
- The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding the third of nine Roadshow meetings at the Wondai Town Hall in Mackenzie Street, Wondai at 5:30pm (for a 6:00pm start) this evening. The Roadshow will update residents on what the Council has been doing since it was elected 18 months ago; current projects it's working on; and its new Economic Development Strategy, which aims to create 3000 new jobs in the region by 2020. BIEDO will also update guests on their own projects. A BBQ dinner to help fundraise for a Wondai community group will be available for purchase, and everyone is welcome.
Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
- Bingo games will be held at Nukku Nook at the head of the Blackbutt Rail Trail in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening (eyes down at 7:30pm sharp). Kingaroy SES Training Night

Wondai SES Meeting
- The Wondai SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at their shed in McCord Street, Wondai from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Mosaics & Beading Classes - Nanango
- Creative Connections at 8 George Street, Nanango will be running their regular Monday mosaics class from 9:30am to noon today. Cost is $10 per person - which includes morning tea and materials - and participants should BYO gloves and apron. This will be followed by a beading class from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Murgon SES Training Night
- The Murgon SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at the SES Building in Gore Street, Murgon from 7:00pm to 9:00pm tonight. Anyone from the Murgon district who's interested in joining the SES (or simply finding out more about what's involved) is very welcome to come along.
Kumbia Mad Chatters Meeting - Kingaroy
- The Kumbia Mad Chatters social group will be holding their monthly social get-together with a lunch at the Commercial Hotel at the the corner of Glendon and Haly Streets, Kingaroy at 12:00 noon today. A car pool will be leaving Kumbia Hall at 11:30am and all ladies are welcome, but to help plan the transport RSVPs are essential by September 13. More details?
