Kids On Tour - Wondai
The Wondai Regional Art Gallery will be hosting Me, Myselfie and I - a free arts workshop open to all children aged from 6 to 11 years - from 12:30am to around 3:30pm this afternoon. All material and equipment is provided and parents are encouraged to attend. Morning tea will be provided, too, but to help plan the catering an RSVP would be appreciated: (07) 4168-5926. Sunday Bingo - Wondai
Bingo games will be held at the Wondai RSL in Mackenzie Street, Wondai this afternoon, with eyes down from 1:30pm. There will be 3 jackpots and 15 games on offer, and the kitchen will be open for light meals. Proceeds will go to help Wondai RSL veterans. More details? Phone (07) 4168-5297.
Community Charity Golf Day - Blackbutt
The Blackbutt Golf Club at 51 Langton Road, Blackbutt will be holding a Community Charity Golf Day today, with a shotgun start at 10:00am. The event is a fundraiser for Blackbutt-Benarkin Aged Care and other charities and will take the form of a 4-person ambrose, offering prizes of up to $1000. Sunday Poker - Kingaroy

Taromeo Country Music Club Social - Blackbutt
The Taromeo Country Music Club will be holding their second bi-monthly Sunday social for 2018 at the Blackbutt Golf Club in Langton Road, Blackbutt from 10:00am to around 4:00pm today. Entertainment will be provided by the visiting and guest artists. There'll also be multi-draw raffles, a money board, a licensed bar, plenty of food and refreshments and - of course! - lots of great country music and dancing. Admission is still only $5 with bottomless tea or coffee and and free afternoon tea as well. Lunch will also be available for a small charge. Everyone is welcome!
Kilkivan Railway Markets
The weekly Kilkivan Railway Markets will be held in Lester Millar Park in Kilkivan from 7:00am until around 12:00 noon this morning. Sunday Golf - Kingaroy & Murgon
The Kingaroy Golf Club on the Bunya Highway south-west of town will be holding its South Burnett Radiology Open Day today, which will take the form of a Two Person Ambrose (2 men or 2 women - no mixed groups). There'll be shotgun starts at 7:00am and 11:30am with great prizes on offer, a Lucky Draw of the cards at presentations, and a running barbecue. More details? Phone the golf club on (07) 4162-1720. Meanwhile, the final day of the three day Queensland Indigenous Golf Championship will be played at the Murgon Golf Club on the Bunya Highway south of the CBD today. The championship is open to male and female Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander amateur golfers with a Golf Australia handicap. Spectators are very welcome.
Afghanistan Remembrance Service - Nanango
The Nanango RSL Sub-Branch will be holding a Remembrance Service for Afghanistan and other conflicts at the Nanango Wart Memorial at the corner of Drayton and Henry Streets at 11:00am this morning. All veterans and current or former serving members of the Australian Defence Forces and their families are welcome to attend. Dress is neat casual, with medals as entitled.
Open Mic Afternoon At The Fitzroy - Nanango
The Fitzroy Hotel in Fitzroy Street, Nanango will be holding an Open Mic Jam Session from 2:00pm to around 6:30pm this afternoon, hosted by Mr Q. Anyone is welcome to put their name up on the blackboard and - when their turn comes - perform up to 25 minutes of originals or covers. All PAs, guitars and drums will be provided by Mr Q. Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Burnett Kennel Club Championship Show - Wondai
The final day of the annual, three day Burnett Kennel Club All Breeds Championship Dog Show will be held at the Wondai Showgrounds today.
Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon.
