World Disco Dancing Record Attempt - Kingaroy
- Kingaroy State High School students will be attempting to break a Guinness World Record for U18s disco dancing in Memorial Park today (at the moment, the record stands at 314 dancers). The day will get underway at 9:30am with a sausage sizzle, a jumping castle, face-painting and a cake stall, before the record attempt at 11:00am. All under-18s are invited to take part in the attempt in exchange for a gold coin donation. You can read more about this on our website.
Kingaroy SES Training Night
- The Kingaroy SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at the Kingaroy SES headquarters in Glendon Street, Kingaroy (next to Kingaroy X-Ray) from 7:00pm to 9:00pm this evening. New members are always very welcome. More details? Phone 0428-741-274
Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
- Bingo games will be held at Nukku Nook at the head of the Blackbutt Rail Trail in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening (eyes down at 7:30pm sharp). Murgon SES Training Night
- The Murgon SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at the SES Building in Gore Street, Murgon from 7:00pm to 9:00pm tonight. Anyone from the Murgon district who's interested in joining the SES (or simply finding out more about what's involved) is very welcome to come along.
Cooinda Craft Group - Kingaroy
- The Cooinda Craft Group will be holding its regular Monday morning meeting at the Town Common Hall in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to 1:30pm today. Members of the group pursue a variety of crafts and newcomers are always welcome.
Wondai SES Training Night
- The Wondai SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at their shed in McCord Street, Wondai from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Monday Night Line Dancing - Proston
- Line dancing classes will be held at the Proston Community Hall in Rodney Street, Proston tonight. A beginners class will run at 5:00pm and an advanced class at 6:30pm. Class fees are $5 per head and everyone is welcome!
Asbestos Disease Support Society Morning Tea - Kingaroy
- The Asbestos Disease Support Society will be hosting a free morning tea at Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy from 10:00am to 11:30am this morning in conjunction with Turner Freeman Lawyers. The get-together is a social event aimed at those suffering from asbestos disease, their families and carers, and will provide information about asbestos diseases and supports available for those suffering from asbestos-related disease. To help plan the catering, though, an RSVP to 1800 776 412 or via email by April 10 would be greatly appreciated.
Monday Ukulele Club - Wondai

Murgon Neighbourhood Watch
- Murgon Neighbourhood Watch will be holding their second bi-monthly meeting for 2018 at the Murgon Police Station at 46 Stephens Street from 5:30pm to around 7:00pm this evening. The meeting will get an update on the current crime situation in Murgon and nearby areas from Murgon police. New members are always very welcome and there is no meeting or membership fee.
