Author's Afternoon - Nanango
- The Shed in Little Drayton Street, Nanango (just next to Scott Car Park) will be presenting an afternoon with author Janice Gallen (pictured) and friends from 1:00pm today. Janice has written 7 books with a distinctly Australian influence and is a recipient of the Redlitzer Award, and she'll be discussing her books, short stories and poetry today. Janice will also be supported by several local storytellers and poets, so it should be quite a literary talk-fest! The $20 admission fee includes a personally autographed copy of one of Janice's books, and additional books will be available today for just $10. Nibbles and a glass of wine will also be provided, or you're welcome to BYO. There'll also be a lucky door prize, but seating is limited so a booking is advisable: (07) 4168-1677.
Sunday Bingo - Wondai

Kumbia Museum
- The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon.
