Aerosol Painting Techniques - Murgon
The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be running the second day of a three-day workshop on Aerosol Painting Techniques from 10:00am to 3:00pm today as a school holiday activity. Participants will learn creative spray painting techniques and will apply them to the Lamb Street toilet blocks next to the Visitor Information Centre in the heart of town. Young people of all ages are invited to take part in this free course and can come for the full session or just part of it. There'll also be a free morning tea provided. More details? Maidenwell QCWA Meeting
The Maidenwell branch of the QCWA will be holding their monthly meeting at the Maidenwell Hall Supper Room from 8:45am this morning (when things will kick off with a welcoming cuppa) through until this afternoon. The branch meeting itself will commence at 9:30am and all ladies in the Maidenwell and Bunya Mountains areas are very welcome to come along and meet the other branch members! How To Refinish Old Furniture - Kingaroy
Crowies Paints at 202-204 Haly Street, Kingaroy, will be holding a free info night to explain techniques to refinish old furniture. Attendees will be able to see how they can bring new life to tired, worn furniture and learn how to distress with chalked paint to achieve a vintage look that will last. You can also bring in a small item, a picture frame or a drawer and have a go yourself! Guests should dress in painting gear and this 90-minute session (with a mid-way coffee break) and an RSVP would be appreciated but is not essential: (07) 4162-5011.
Elgin Vale QCWA Meeting

Chatty Craft Evening
A Chatty Craft Evening will be held at the QCWA Rooms at 122 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to 8:00pm tonight. This free social evening is held on the first Tuesday of each month (except January) and it allows women to get together with other women interested in crafts, forge new friendships and have a great time. The Blackbutt Car Enthusiasts Club will be holding its first Tuesday of the month meeting at the Blackbutt RSL at the corner of Muir and Douglas Streets, Blackbutt at 7:00pm tonight. The club is for motoring enthusiasts - any make, model and vintage are welcome - and in addition to sharing their love of motoring, members take part in monthly runs and attend other local events for Show & Shines. Indoor Bowls - Wondai
The Wondai Indoor Bowls Club will be holding its regular Tuesday meeting at the Wondai Town Hall in Mackenzie Street, Wondai at 7:30pm this evening. Three games of 12 ends are played, lasting up to three hours, and playing fees are $3. Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough. Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Nanango every Tuesday from 5:30pm at the Catholic Church Hall in Alfred Street (next to St Patrick's school). For more information, phone 0427-289-990.
