Heritage Nanango Country Music Muster
The 2016 Nanango Country Music Muster will be held at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street, Nanango from the 8th to the 11th of September this year, and today the Muster will get underway at 7:00am with a Bush Poets Breakfast. This will be followed with an Invited Artists Concert from 12:00 noon to 10:00pm, and a bar and canteen will be operating at the Showgrounds all day as well. You can get in to attend today's concert for $20; and an all-day Saturday pass tomorrow will be $30 (or $15 if you want to attend from 3:00pm onwards); or you can buy a 4-day pass to the entire event for $45 (young people aged 14 to 17 can get tickets for half price, and under-14s accompanied by an adult can get in for free). Camping will also be available at the Showgrounds and fees range between $7 and $9 per night for unpowered or powered sites - but a booking for any camp site is essential because the Muster usually packs the Showgrounds to capacity.
