Wine & Food In The Park Festival

The 20th annual Wine & Food In The Park Festival will be held at Memorial Park in Haly Street, Kingaroy from 12:00 noon today through to 8:00pm tonight. The Festival has grown over the years to become one of the biggest festivals held in the South Burnett each year as well as the region's most loved Autumn get-together, and this year's WAFITP promises to be bigger and better than ever. The festival's new "village-style" layout that has proven so popular the last last few years will be returning, blending local and visiting wineries in with the Festival's exotic Giant Food Court. There'll also be a jam-packed program of live entertainment and a relaxed craft beer, Pimms and cider garden in the grounds, along with the normal bar. The Festival's popular - and usually outrageous! - street performers will also be wending their way through the crowds all day. Admission is still just $20 per head for adults (under-18s can get in for free), which includes $5 in bonus tickets that can be redeemed for ice-cold bottled water at the festival tent. And after the day winds down, most local entertainment venues in Kingaroy will be holding post-WAFITP parties for revellers who want to carry on into the night. You can find out anything else you'd like to know about this year's Wine & Food In The Park Festival on the Festival's website.
