This month the gallery will be showcasing the landscapes of Caboolture artist Kerry Herrod in the front gallery; works by Indigenous artist Anthony “Boy” Turnbull in the main gallery; and paintings and recycled metal objects by Jan Ferguson in the rear gallery, while children from Tingoora State School will exhibit their own works in Kidz Korner. As usual, tonight's opening will also feature hot and cold finger foods and punch, along with wine tastings from a South Burnett winery, live entertainment and lots of fun socialising. Admission is just $5 and everyone is welcome to attend. More details? Phone the Gallery on (07) 4168-5926. Note: After tonight's opening the exhibition will remain on show from 10:00am to 4:00pm daily until the end of the month.

A free information session about them will be held from 5:30pm to 6:45pm this afternoon at Nutrien Ag Solutions at 12 Macalister Street in Murgon (just past Murgon Showgrounds) for people who'd like to compete at this year's Goomeri, Proston, Murgon or Wondai Shows (a second session will be held in Nanango next Friday for people living in Kingaroy, Nanango or Blackbutt who'd like to be part of those town's shows). Both women and men are welcome, and you can obtain more details by phoning Claire-Marie on 0468-371-436.
