As usual, the markets will feature a wide variety of craft stalls, new and used goods, plants, poultry and pets. The Nanango Markets are the largest rural market in south east Queensland and routinely attract 320 to 420 stallholders. But new stallholders are always very welcome too! More info? Phone the Market Co-Ordinator on (0427) 631-273 during business hours.
Nanango Army Cadet Expo
The Nanango Army Cadets will be holding an Army Cadet Expo at the Nanango State High School Hall from 12:00 noon until late today. The expo will be preceded by Army Cadets from Brisbane and the surrounding area attending the Nanango Markets for a march around the main arena supported by Cadet drummers. This will be followed by a sausage sizzle and bacon and egg burgers on sale back at Nanango State High School, along with the Expo itself which will showcase the many activities Cadets get involved in. If you're a young person who's wondering if Cadets are right for you, today's Expo is a great way to get all your questions answered, as well as a chance to meet current cadets who are really enjoying the experience. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
