Eat In The Street Garage Sale - Nanango
Nanango will be hosting an "Eat In The Street Garage Sale" from 4:30pm to 7:00pm tonight to raise funds for New Years Eve bushfire victims in Cobargo in southern NSW. The event has been organised by the Nanango Tourism and Development Association and it will run in Drayton and Henry Streets in the heart of Nanango's CBD. Members of the public have been invited to set up stalls to sell their surplus goods for a small fee, or donate them to stalls manned by volunteers so the entire proceeds of any sales can go to Cobargo; and Crusty's Pizza, Cocos Tapas Bar, Red's Fish & Chips, Shortiez and Nanango RSL will all be staying open late and offering special take-aways that can be eaten on tables and chaiors set up on the footpaths, with part of each sale also going to the fundraising drive. The Palace Hotel, meanwhile, will be offering Moffatdale Ridge wine tastings, face painting for children and the opportunity for local sports clubs and community groups to come along and publicise what they do. Green Shirts Movement Rally and Meet & Greet
The Kingaroy cluster of the Green Shirts Movement will be holding a rally outside Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington's electorate office at 36 Alford Street, Kingaroy at 11:00am this morning, followed by a Meet & Greet at the Carrollee Hotel in King Street at 5:00pm this evening. The Green Shirts Movement is a national organisation formed by former State Of Origin prop Marty Bella which believes all levels of Government are making poor agricultural policies, and you can read more about them - and today's activities - on our website.
Breakthrough Health Expo - Murgon
Graham House in Taylor Street East, Murgon will be hosting a DrugARM family and community expo today to provide information to people who are supporting others with drug or alcohol problems. The Expo, which will run from 8:30am to 10:30am, will highlight several local services available, and will be followed by a “Breakthrough Our Way”, an Indigenous-focussed training workshop running from 10:30am to 2:30pm. Nanango Stags Sign On
The Nanango Stags rugby league football club will be holding a Sign On for their 2020 season at Fred Kassulke Oval off the D'Aguilar Highway south of Nanango's CBD from 4:00pm to 6:00pm this afternoon. New players of all ages are very welcome!
Murgon Men's Shed
The Murgon Men's Shed will be holding a meeting at their shed in Macalister Street, Murgon (the former Murgon Railway Station) today. The Men's Shed meets every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday to work on projects and new members are always welcome.
Wednesday Morning Bingo - Murgon

The Blackbutt Golf Club at 51 Langton Road, Blackbutt will be running their weekly Sporters's Club game at 3:00pm this afternoon. Overeaters Anonymous
The newly-formed Overeaters Anonymous will be holding its initial meeting at the Parish Meeting Place at 16 Alfred Street, Nanango from 7:00pm to 8:00pm this evening. OA is is a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength, and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating. Ther group welcomes everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively, and there are no dues or fees for members. OA is not affiliated with any public or private organization, political movement, ideology, or religious doctrine and takes no position on outside issues. Its primary purpose is to abstain from compulsive eating and compulsive food behaviors and to carry the message of recovery through the Twelve Steps of OA to those who still suffer.
Alcoholics Anonymous - Proston
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
